Introducing the World Association for Online Education  [how's this for a title?]

Many educators experience a letdown following a professional convention; One they wish that the synergy and camaraderie fostered there could continue indefinitely. This same feeling was felt among Certain this was the case for many of the participants of in the "Technology in the Community College Online Conference" sponsored by the University of Hawaii Kapiolani campus in April 1998. A Because participants strongly desired to continue the dialog initiated in Kapiolani, resulted in formation of   (who?) formed a new professional organization several months later. Readers of The Technology Source may be interested in the services offered by the new ly organized World Association for Online Education.

In September of 1998, the World Association for Online Education was incorporated as a nonprofit entity in California. Composed of educators and professionals from both Eastern and Western hemispheres, WAOE is dedicated to the worldwide enhancement of online education. worldwide [Should Eastern and Western be capitalized?]
