Within my team I have the four faculties (Business; Nursing and Health; Community, Arts and Social Sciences; and Science and Industrial Technology), the student support services (health, counselling and learning assistance) and Human Resources (which includes staff development).

At Manawatu Polytechnic we have a keen interest in using educational technology for facilitating student learning. I have limited personal experience with using recent technology for teaching (having moved out of the teaching arena) but if we had had the facilities we now have 15 years ago I would have been a leader in the field I am sure.

My background was originally in nursing, moving into nursing education and then into management. I am currently studying for a Masters in Educational Administration at Massey University.
