A little bit of information about myself. I have been Head of the Business Faculty at Manawatu Polytechnic in New Zealand since 1993, but have been involved in education since 1988. Prior to that I worked in computing in a local authority environment. In 1995 I completed an MBA with Henley Management College in the UK and my dissertation topic was "The future of technology in delivering higher education".

During 1996 I co-authored the Educational Technology Strategic Plan for the Manawatu Polytechnic and am now part of a project team reviewing the learning environment for the Business Faculty. In addition to my obvious interests in education and technology, I am also interested in tourism and I breed/exhibit Irish Setters as a hobby. I am looking forward to animated discussion at the forthcoming conference.
