I have worked with Christchurch Polytechnic, New Zealand, since 1989.

I currently hold the position of Head, Planning & Development Division and am responsible for the co-ordination and articulation of Christchurch Polytechnic's strategic direction and the associated planning and reporting documentation, oversight of marketing/market research, enterprise development and our international activities.

I was educated in Christchurch with an MA (Hons) from Canterbury University in Geography and a Dip Tchg. I have wandered all over education for 26 years as a teacher, consultant, teacher trainer, manager and administrator both in New Zealand and in the South Pacific.

I'm into work, music, work, computing, home development, work, good red wine and SE Asian food, work, the AFS Intercultural exchange organisation and that little bit of necessary exercise.

I am a current member of SCUP and find the electronic and hard publications most helpful to my current activity. I look forward to the Transformation Workshop to do just that to my act as an institutional planner!
