Responsibilities:

1. The teaching and research outputs of the Faculty of Applied Technology, one of three faculties in the institution. The faculty has three schools - Natural Resources (agriculture, horticulture, environment), Engineering, and Electrotechnology.

2. Active participation at an executive level in the development of the Polytechnic's vision and strategic direction, and planning.
